You are repeating fake talking points from the right-wing media. I found this in less than 20-seconds. It was relentless for 8+ years. You need more? Do your own research.
My point is that the right wing media and right-leaning celebrities treated Obama worse than the left has treated Trump. It's an opinion, but I think it's a valid one. What you said, calling it "fake news" is not valid.
The swamp doesn't want to be drained, they don't want the gravy train to stop so they must hate Trump with everything they got to manipulate the masses into hating him too.
I agree with the first part of your post. And I'll include most dems in "the swamp". I don't argue that point.
But Trump is the leader of the swamp, and his followers just seem to refuse to see that. Politics are dirty, he CORRECTLY identified that problem and it is what won him the election. He understood people's pains, and articulated it well. Credit to him for that. But he is dirtier than most life-long politicians. He identified the problem, but then exploited it for his own gain.
If you refuse to see that, then you are no more enlightened than all the Hillary supporters who think anyone who votes Republican is a deplorable. (They aren't, I'm going to marry a Trump Supporter, so be careful what you assume about me.)
A true leader would address what he/she thinks is unfair or untrue, but would not dish out the childish attacks. I know you are no fan of Obama, but he handled a hostile (Much more hostile than the media toward Trump, I might add) media with class and dignity. He kept a calm and respectful demeanor, and responded with a combination of objective facts, and of course, his subjective opinions and interpretations, which certainly differed from some.
And before you go on and blather about how "the media" fawned all over Obama, make sure you look at how the right-wing media treated him. Look at Fox, Breitbart, etc.... They would be the fair comparison of how the left wing media treats Trump, and by any objective review, the left is much kinder and civilized toward Trump than the right was to Obama. (For every Kathy Griffin, there were a dozen people on the right showing Obama in a noose, or painted up like Hitler or on fire, or some other grotesque respresentation. Kathy got what she deserved, no problem there. Many of those on the right, did not get the push-back and consequences that she got.)

It was the media who was so focused on Trump during the campaign in 2016 that allowed him to win the Presidency in the first place, with thousands of hours of free air time.
I guess they have finally learned their lesson. And no Trump rally deserves any media coverage by any network other than Faux News.
Yeah, all that negative press really pushed him over the top.
