While I'm not a fan of made-up "facts," the far-right does it all the time with their laughable claim that "nothing can be done about gun violence in America" despite the FACT that every single other developed nation has addressed the problem, and many of them still have plenty of guns.
That, right there - the "what can you do?" as more people die - is the biggest lie made up to fit an agenda of them all.
For starters we can enforce existing laws and quit treating large gatherings as gun free zones.
Interesting that these cities with high murder rates don't seem to get the so-called "mass shootings" where a gunman walks into a school (or church or theater) and starts intentionally mowing down random people.

Who was it who said "nothing can be done about gun violence in America?" You do know how quote marks work? The words within them are actually spoken or written words by some actual person.
As others have posted trying to get to that fire rate on an AR-15 is not realistic unless you are someone like Jerry Miculek: Watching him shoot is OMG , everyone else is just a Amateur Wannabe.
Jerry Miculek: is perhaps one of if not the fastest shooter's in the world. Jerry has on video getting to 10 rounds a second or very close to that, with a semi-automatic pistol or rifle. to Jerry could empty a 30 rounds magazine in 4 seconds or less. and then take most likely 2 seconds or less for a magazine change.
So it would be conceivable to Jerry Miculek could get 6 magazine changes and fire them all in under a minute. Now will the rifle he is shooting be able to hold up to that well that is another story.
I watched a video of Jerry Miculek shoot a 1911 a 10 round magazine in 1.1 seconds from start to end.
And that was from the draw. But I can't find that video.
But even if not at 5 rounds per second, he can empty a 30 round magazine in 6 seconds, with a reload and back most likely under 10. So 6 magazines is possible.
But Jerry Miculek as you indicated is most likely the best and fastest in the world.
Every time I see him shoot in one of those video's with a timer, I am like Jerry you are a Shooting God. Everyone else is a wannabe.

Looking at some of the YouTube demos of bump stocks it seems like the best they can do is about 25 rounds in 5 or 6 seconds. I guess that's not bad, depending on what you're shooting at.
Tucker did the job all journalists should be doing by asking for proof of a claim. When the politician couldn't back up his claim, he went into deflection mode.
Sorry, you don't get to spout off half-truths and downright lies in an attempt to remove our God-given rights without being questioned on your supposed facts. If half of the anti-gun people would actually educate themselves it would make for at least entertainment. I can't say it owuld be an honest debate because it seems like most of the "facts" trotted out by anti-gun pols and groups are always wrong.
The most important thing to keep in mind is if the legal gun owners in this country were even 10% of the problem the media make them out to be, we'd all know it. 300 million guns and TRILLIONS of rounds of ammunition are out there.
