ALL gun laws are infringements.
On this matter, I really do not care.

Nobody should be abusing their domestic partners. You can take guns from a felon, so I think keeping homes safe from abusers with guns should be reasonable unless that person is found not guilty by a jury of his/her peers.

as sad as this story is, an estimated 45 people are murdered in the united states every day. Many of which are being committed by people with prior criminal records.

Yes, it is very sad, and my prayers are with their family. And yes, something needs to be done to help keep repeat felons off the streets. But this happens every day nationwide. I bet 80% of the murders that happened in america over the past 48 hours were committed by people with criminal history. Any particular reason you posted this specific article?
Wait, did you attempt (and fail miserably) to compare my response about people being randomly targeted for violent crimes by felons...... to my opinion of a husband with a history of domestic abuse and his wife asking a judge multiple times for him to remove his guns from the house they lived in together?

Talk about reaching. Holy Toledo.

It doesn't matter. Property rights are absolute and inalienable. Anything else is theft.

I hate to reply with "so what?" but I will.

Cars are property, but they sure do get impounded when they are used to commit a crime. I don't see any difference between this and seizing guns from a domestic abuser.

Yesssss...when all else fails let’s resort to those rather specific places.

I hope this judge will be haunted by the dead family in his nightmares.

Not really, but ok. Lol

I’ll give the nod to Chapel Hill and Asheville to a degree. But the only REAL cities in the South are New Orleans and Miami to a much lesser degree.

Unless you are a drunk driver and you car is taken away or at least the right to drive it. Unless you don't pay your taxes and your house is taken away.

Both are examples of theft and a violation of property rights.
