In case anyone cares to examine FDR's reasoning for wanting to expand the Supreme Court, rather than flamethrowing: https://millercenter.org/the-preside...-court-packing Audio isn't working for me but the text is there. Btw, he wasn't the first to suggest the Supreme Court should have more justices.

Amazing how often the greatest president in U.S. history is bashed on this forum.

Trump will get his first pick through if he does it this fall, assuming the split Republicans pull it together and confirm. After that, it depends on whether the democrats flip the Senate. In that case, Trump can nominate whomever he wants if another SC Justice were to die or retire, but they might or might not be confirmed.

Yes, and he will nominate justices that will respect, and enforce the Constitution. Not Far Left Activists that want to use their "feelings" to social engineer America.

He is already preparing to nominate a 2nd Justice when Kennedy retires.

Now we look to Breyer and Ginsburg and their advanced age. If they pass away (god forbid), or steps down due to infirmity...can they last 2 to 6 more years? Could Trump actually appoint 4 (!) Justices? Of course, that depends on the republicans keeping the house and senate.

What do you guys have to say? Should there be a limit to how many Justices a POTUS can appoint?
I think Trump's limit is 9 SC appointes.

A- Investigations by the party in the minority is as American pie, so soon the Supreme Court would be without justices if you idea was adopted. Surely, you understand this basic factor political life. if you do not. Puleez refrain from voting in any further elections. B- The Supreme Court's purpose is not to represent us, rather to determine the constitutionality of matters brought before it. The legality.

On second thought, immediately turn in your voter registration card.

Defend your chillingly ignorant statements. All else is dust in the wind until then.

Yet you chose a narcissistic reality star with no experience who alienates our allies and praises the dictators. Not very American
