These stalling tactics reek of desperation on the Trump team's part. The Cult may accept them as proof that their tarnished hero is being victimized - but it seems unlikely anyone with any understanding of how democracy (or rather, a democratic republic) is supposed to work would be so gullible as to fail to see this for exactly what it is.
But the Trumplings are in fact that gullible. They prove it every single day. I have no idea what their understanding of democracy and a democratic republic are, but I do know they are exactly that gullible.
I seem to recall Nixon used money from various contributions to payoff people-like the Watergate burglars. I suspect Trumps campaign is using this money in a similar fashion. Or trying to launder it back to him-or themselves.
Mueller is right to look into this, but anyone thinking this is new is nuts. I'm sure Mueller has been investigating this since last year.
Likely because Trump wasn't the only Republican benefiting from Russian money and meddling.
As soon as the Senate Intelligence report came out affirming Russian interference in the election, Republican Senators hot footed it over to Moscow to assure Putin to pay no attention to the report.
Hard to believe any but the most hard core haters are still hanging their hopes on Mueller. Especially with all the recent revelations of how the Trump campaign team was set up.
That won't fly with Mueller and they know it. It's nothing but a stalling tactic to keep Trump from exonerating himself by telling the truth.
