If you want action, contact the District Attorney's office as cases come up, get petitions with hundreds of RCC signatures, demanding the prosecution seek maximum sentences for all perps and enabling bishops.

Petition your political leaders to enact legislation ending the Statute of Limitations on child sexual abuse. Demand they enact legislation eliminating Bankruptcy Court as a means for anyone to void sexual abuse claims. Demand they auction churches and rectories, if need be, to pay those claims promptly.

ALL organized religious institutions are corrupt businesses. Religion is a racket.

But, there are people who need to feel loved, or guided or threatened by an imaginary being(s) wrapped around some bizarre narrative. The promise of tomorrow’s paradise. These people wouldn’t know what to do with themselves if they didn’t have religion.

Nothing is going to happen. The RCC has been breaking bread with the Protestants for decades on account of abortion.

They have the politicians in their pockets.

I disagree. There are journalists who wish their industry could recover and while there is no 2nd official spotlight team, there may exist a de facto group who would pursue if contacted.

But to go through church channels is futile. Victims must start with the press, and work back to district attorney's offices.

At that stage, petition pols to change laws as previously stated protecting church $$$$$.

https://dwightlongenecker.com/bring-...ghteous-anger/

"But I think we’re also angry because at last people are starting to see that sin is bad. Its bad because it hurts people. We’re angry because little boys have been raped and their lives destroyed. We’re angry because seminarians have been seduced and their vocations destroyed. We’re angry because homosexuals have soiled our seminaries with their lust and bishops and cardinals and seminary rectors have turned a blind eye or played along.

We’re angry because this is sin, and sin always hurts people.
Now maybe once again we can understand why God hates sin. He doesn’t hate sin because he’s big and nasty and judgmental. He hates sin because it breaks hearts, breaks lives, breaks families, breaks the church and breaks true love."

It's all been PC for many years. No thought of heaven or hell or sin anymore----that's not PC. No one sins anymore because nothing is sin anymore. Children and even adults have suffered for this.

The Pope did act. He stripped Cardinal McCarrick of his rank & title. This would be the equivalent of getting disbarred if you're a lawyer:

Normally the process is for a Cardinal to be investigated and then there to be a church trial. Remember Vatican City is a country and has its own laws. That's why they generally won't arrest a priest right away. The Priest is a citizen of Vatican City. The Holy See must try him and can turn him over to the home authorities after they've dealt their punishment.

Actually, McCarrick is a US citizen who could be , at minimum, brought in for questioning by police, w/o asking any RCC members what they think.

I do think we need RCC pedophile and protecting bishop perp walks. Arrest them, make sure the media is there, do not allow them to come in on their own, but treat them as common pedophiles would be. Thrown in back of a police van, and whoosh away they go. Jail them pending trial. No bail allowed.

A major problem has been our justice system acting like the RCC is above the law. Its not. 99.9% of its flock exist in OTHER countries, just like ours.
