Exactly. You want equality you get all that comes with it.

The strength may be different but having different genitalia doesn't entitle you to hit.

I realize that they tend to exaggerate. It is just when you see a police station and one officer smacks another one that I wondered if it was culture? Even in some stores, in those programs, one customer would hit another one. These scenes play out in so many programs and they don't add to the 50 foot jumps and wall climbing; so that is why I ask the question and maybe, somebody from South Korea, can answer the question.

well, I must say that not every Asian group has that overwhelming interests in opening businesses in black neighborhoods. Every Asian group has found their own "niche".

In term of why do SOME Asian groups open business in black neighborhood? well, simple answer: supply and demand. Blacks want their product, and they provide a service and a product.

All these being said, Tensions between African American residents and Korean immigrant merchants in inner-city neighborhoods have occurred in several cities, culminating in the 1992 Los Angeles riots and uprising. The media sees this conflict as racial, while black and Korean community leaders explain it in terms of cultural differences.

I don't know what it is, to be quite honest.

I hope the Asian man staying in business. Maybe apologize to the customer and offer free treatment. Making this a yuge deal seems unnecessary in my opinion.

Apologize?

When people make a scene in stores they often get banned from returning, and that’s exactly what he should do. Apologizing to her just condones her bad behavior.

Yes, she did a little shove as she was walking away but it wasn't necessary to sucker punch her in the face.

Why don't you go out and protest if you think his arrest was unfair?

With the video going viral there is little chance that it can be settled without lawyers involved. Too many people looking to make money or they want to use the video to support their side of an argument.

It's not like the old days where you sent Jimmy over to tell Bob's family that he was sorry! Then it was uncomplicated. Nothing like technology!

Disparity of force probably. That’s not uncommon in male v. female physical altercations.

It is impossible to "sucker punch" someone who is already putting their hands in your face.

There sure are a lot of tough men and women on this forum. Not seeing anything wrong with sucker punching a woman [or man] in the face when they're walking away. I have a feeling he could have shot her and we'd be seeing excuses such as it was 4 against 1 or she might have turned away to pull a gun.

in a country with over 300 million citizens, the media has to search far and wide to find one obscure story to stir up racial animosity every single day.
