Didn't want to start a new thread but couldn't find the old one on this.
Supposedly a majority of Doctors in America support a Nationalize Healthcare system. Thoughts?

I'd be very interested in seeing this survey, including the question(s) asked and possible answers. A survey can be designed to generate a desired response.

Thats because they are getting tired of fighting government program A, and government program B, and private insurance, and, and, and, trying to determine who is responsible for payment.
Of course the doctors are for it. Doctors have to have huge back office staffs in order to jump through all of the hoops that insurance companies put between them and payment. I worked for a clinic with 2 doctors that had a staff of 8 doing nothing but insurance pre-authorizations and billing.
One of the reasons that your healthcare is so expensive these days is because hospitals and clinics need to have a lot more people working on billing than ever before. It would make it a lot easier on doctors to have one set of rules to follow when it came to billing.
You joke about it, lkm370, but the point that pghquest made is very legitimate. Deflecting the question with a cutesy GWB quote does not reduce the validity of his post and makes you appear to be unable to defend your position when presented with a good reason to not subject the citizens of this country to universal health care.
