- Brennan used his security clearance status to gain access to the MSM as a intelligence insider.
- once settled into the MSM as a regular guest Brennan passed along fabricated accusations about Trump while still having security clearance.
- farbicrating accusations while having security clearance status suggests his accusations are based on accurate insider intel rather than just his opinion.
- passing off fabricated personal opinion as accurate intel from his “security clearance” is abuse and an attempt to undermine the presidency, and is also politically monetizing his status for his personal benifit.
- That is why his clearance was revoked.
Oh btw, no one is shutting up Brennan or preventing him from going on the news. He still has the freedom to talk to whom ever he wants. But even some liberals in recent days are starting to see he has no credibility
So you're saying that Brennan did not reveal classified information or otherwise break the law, but that his clearance revoked simply because he said things the President didn't like.
The "monetizing" the security clearance is perhaps the stupidest argument out there concerning Brennan. Literally every single contractor who has a security-clearance is "monetizing" it.
The second has been demonstrated to be true, since the leaders of FBI and DOJ and intelligence have been on TV promoting their views and we have seen email exchanges where they agreed to 'stop Trump'.
The 'dirty laundry' you refer to has not been seen.
When your proof or demonstration of the latter involves nothing but the investigation of the former, you're kinda putting the cart before the horse.
This is exactly the point. Whether the administration is concerned that the recipient might exercise his or her First Amendment right to criticize (or laud) the administration should not be a factor in the granting or revocation of security clearances.
Actually I was pointing more towards leaking classified information as has already happened with others not to mention Brennan himself.
Brennan is free to say whatever he wishes, just not with CLASSIFIED information (again,as he's done before).
Brennan also did revoke the security clearance to a soldier who was a hero in Benghazi. Whats goes around comes around. ;-)
Yikes.
Senator Udall from Colorado
Brennan uses his voice a lot, and he uses it to lie.
Brennan lied about hacking Senate Intelligence computers, later admitted he lied about it and apologized (oh what a gentleman), he lied about drone strikes killing civilians saying they hadn't taken out a single civilian, he briefed President Obama to the opposite, and is either lying about not knowing who paid for the Steele Dossier or is incredibly incompetent about his CIA of which he was Director- not! Then he lied about them not depending on the Steele Dossier for anything important.
This guy should have been arrested long before now.
