But this is America, the system we have is a system of health care providers being free to rip off anyone because they are desperate and in pain. This is the free market you love. Its the most market based health care system in the world. And the most expensive by a long shot. As long as you love extreme inequality, you dont stand a chance to influence the political process because you dont have the money necessary to be of importance.

Medicare isnt slavery. Just drop this nonsense. If the poor paid a little more into the system, you would still kick and scream that they dont pay as much as the millionaire so it must be abolished in favor of a Congolese system of no regulations, no government in health care, no food and drug safety and witch doctors on demand.
