Michael Cohen will plead guilty to bank fraud, tax evasion, and campaign finance violations. Looks like he will serve anywhere from 7-11 years in federal prison. Donald Trump will not pardon him because Cohen would be forced to testify and not plead the fifth, so I guess he's willing to serve a decade of his life to protect Trump.

Either that, or like Paul Manafort, Michael Cohen fears for his safety and the safety of his family if he were to cooperate.

Wow, so it's possible that TWO people close to Donald Trump will be found guilty (one by trial, one by plea deal) of multiple federal charges on the same day.
Just heard the same thing.

Although to be honest, perhaps there was no reason to reach a deal.
They probably have all the evidence they need.

As another poster said - could be a great day for justice.

Speaking of meltdown I can't wait to see Trump's Twitter meltdown over this.

Let me guess, more tax fraud from 10 years back. Glad we spent over $20 million for a special council to get those darn tax cheats.

A special council to investigate Russian influence in the 2016 elections only charges American citizens for tax fraud from a decade ago. What a joke

But, but, but they really, really have him this time. Trump called for a taxi once in 1982.

It's not like the other 100 claims when they really had him.

Why did Rod "Mr Peepers" Rosenstein say the Russians had no effect on the vote? Obama said the same thing. Were they lying?

Rosenstein will back that position no doubt.
Oh, come on, no one here is that gullible. Manafort and Cohen were criminals, and TRump was their best buddy. They were all in each others' pockets.

Glad to see Cohen turning - not entirely trusting his motives being his claim of love of family and country, but glad to see it, anyway.

I have no use whatsoever for Manafort - just read what his daughters wrote one another about him. He is corrupt in every way and utterly depraved in his appallingly abusive treatment of his brain-injured wife.

One is known by the company one keeps.
