Maybe not today, but he certainly could in future.

“The plea agreement does not call for Mr. Cohen to cooperate with federal prosecutors in Manhattan, but it does not preclude him from providing information to the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, who is examining the Trump campaign’s possible involvement in Russia’s interference in the 2016 campaign.

If Mr. Cohen were to substantially assist the special counsel’s investigation, Mr. Mueller could in the future seek a reduction in his sentence.”

Avenatti is probably feeling pretty smug
Some questions I have
1--is it going to be "wilful" campaign finance violations which carry a criminal punishment not just a slap on wrist fine
2--where does Elliot Browdy fall into this pig sty
3--where does the RNC come in since Cohen was shucking money from donors for the RNC and could have exposed any criminal moves on his part in conjunction w/RNC cooperation
Paul Ryan was big time involved in RNC money raising
4--Trump?????
5--Russian mob involvement?
6--his father in law???

Think Trump has left for Russia yet--
The news said he was "traveling" this PM

Michael Cohen has reached a plea deal.

Michael Cohen is dealing with the Southern District of New York, headed up by a direct Trump appointee, not by Robert Mueller.

In order to reach a deal, the man would have to offer up something to get something. Our dealmaker in chief knows all about that, so I assume his devotees know this too. We really don't know what he has offered.

Any of Cohen's crimes which apply to state laws are not pardonable by the dealmaker in chief, so if that is the case Trump can not buy him off and Cohen will be left to his own devices. It is possible that he knows something of value, but what? What do Trumpies assume he is giving up?

I find it ironic that the OP attempts to label the special counsel corrupt when it is camp followers and close associates of Donald J. Trump who are proving themselves to be corrupt time and time again. It really displays the OP's bias.

Dear, it was you who made it personal, just like you do now with this personal attack..

I get why you are upset that not one thing was found my Mueller on Trump. That must gripe your ass given the response. But no need to start calling people "cultists" because you are unable to handle reality. And the rest of us know this without having to have it filtered through your real media too.

Yup, I'd say they are pretty good. Then again I don't let the MSM to tell me what to mindlessly think either.
Nothing like taking a victory lap at halftime....

Lots of folks going to jail for what people were saying is a "nothing burger"

Maybe we can go back to hearings and investigations over birth certificates, Benghazi and *** stained dresses so Republicans can show us what real investigations are about.

I don't really care if this goes to Trump or not. Only Muller and his team knows where this is going to go and the public will see when the time is right.

The fact that Republicans were instantly screaming this was nothing, after decades of nothing investigations and we have people going to jail only shows they weren't interested in anything other than partisan bull****.

I'm sure there have been some shady Trump transactions when he was a businessman, but there is absolutely ZERO collusion. If the DOJ goes after Trump for a real estate transaction done improperly done 10 years, or some hush money paid to hookers, all hell will break lose. Yes, that is THE definition of a witch hunt.

Thanks for confirming it.

Oh you must have missed quoting the rest of my post. Never mind I will put it back. Here you go:

1. Thread is not about Russian collusion. It's about Michael Cohen pleading guilty to multiple counts of campaign finance violations, tax fraud and bank fraud, including jail time and a substantial monetary fine.

2. You must have forgotten about Donny Trump junior and the Trump tower meeting.

3. Mueller investigation is not over yet.

Aww I will clarify things for you. Here:

(a) Robert S. Mueller III is appointed to serve as Specia] Counsel for the United States Department of Justice.

(b) The Special Counsel is authorized to conduct the investigation confirmed by then-FBI Director James 8. Comey in testimony before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on March 20, 2017, including:
(i) any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump;
(ii) any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation; and
(iii) any other matters within the scope of 28 C.F.R. § 600.4(a).

(c) If the Special Counsel believes it is necessary and appropriate, the Special Counsel is authorized to prosecute federal crimes arising from the investigation of these matters.
