That’s what it is. As long as we were on the sidelines begging for the TV table scraps, we were fine people. You know...we were always good for being an extra or a friend of a friend. But being the protagonist is simply going too far for the OP.

I have fond memories of watching Bewitched as a very small child. My mom was a fan. Seeing it in reruns as an adult, it seems to capture that time in America when my parents were young and building a new life together.

Even if it's not for PC reasons, when the actor is totally wrong for the character it makes me crazy. Like having Tom Cruise play Jack Reacher. (For those of you not familiar with the Reacher character from the books, he's 6'5" tall and supposed to be rough/dangerous looking.)

For a society that is trying to be " colorblind" it seems EVERY thing is about " color"! Plus for every person who feels non whites can't do ANYTHING right, there are two who think that either:A- they do NO wrong, or b: can NEVER be criticized if they happen to do wrong. You SJW go around preaching how non whites are equal to or superior to whites, yet also feel they are incapable of ANYTHING without yourr heroic support; so which is it?????? Speaking of those old 1970's shows, i was watching All in the Family and during the summer, they played 2 episodes, I had to rewind it to hear it again - they actually said the N word and said the whole word, not just "N-word" I thought wow.. you never hear that on tv nowadays.. not that i want to, but the fact that they actually said that word in the show was pretty strange. Archie said it and George Jefferson said it.

Today, we are not allowed to speak freely. We are censored by society, and government. Free speech, and the First Amendment should protect speech we do not like, support, nor use.
Funny to read the -- why would they do a reboot comments -- some of the biggest tv hits of the last year were reboots-- Roseanne, Will and Grace...LOL, That's why.

Some change the premise quite a bit -- Lost in Space -- others stick to the script.
Seriously the single black Mom was done with Julia -- that was a huge hit back in the day.
