I look at it as once in awhile they do something good, but well over half a cops work day is spent riding around looking to hassle people that aren't doing anything wrong or committing victimless crimes against the state.

So are they going to release the full unedited body cam to the public?

Considering we paid for the camera it would be nice.

That video is horrific. Dogs are “scary” but really...

Took 'em 3 years to release that video.

The city paid out 2 mil to the family, but the cop is still on the force.

Wasnt even concerned that he shot someone by accident, and she wasnt responsive. No wonder they took 3 years to release the video.

No comparison between this incident and the conflict between ghetto thugs and the law. This case was a tragic accidental shooting. The weapon was drawn to control a perceive dangerous animal and accidentally hit an innocent person. Obviously his weapons training failed but it is not a criminal case. The city rightly paid the family 2 million dollars. Ghetto rats get shot while confronting police when they break the law. Most of them have extensive criminal records. BLM has zero credibility, I really don’t care if ghetto people resent being policed. Those killed by the law in the ghetto mean nothing to the larger world, they are a drain on taxpayers and society. Why should anyone care what they think?

You do know it was an exaggerated comment to mock the "they should have complied" crowd, right? No, it appears not.

A few things. First, not every black male living in an impoverished area (or not) is a "ghetto rat".

Secondly, whether they have an extensive criminal record or not doesn't matter. What matters is what is going on in the moment. If previous crimes don't pertain to that moment, it's all a moot point.

Finally, cops don't get to play judge and jury.

Laquon McDonald and Philando Castillo should never have been murdered.

This woman should never have been murdered.

Look at her photo again and take a close look at her children. If you honestly believe $2 million can replace her in their lives, you're as cold-blooded as some cops are.

The problem is that they are terrified of EVERYTHING. Considering that Police officers don't even crack the top twenty most dangerous U.S. jobs, I'm not sure where this fear comes from.

Even the ones that do get killed, the majority are in traffic accidents. I guess being a huge P***y is a requirement for law enforcement?

So you think this cop should go to prison for this accident? Clearly he screwed up but should he be locked up for his mistake? We ask these men to carry a gun and enforce the law. A lot can go wrong out there and sometimes it does. I believe the bar should be extremely high to lock up a police offer who shoots someone in the line of duty. Who is going to want to do this job if there is a risk of being imprisoned if something crazy happens? Do I think he is fit to wear a badge after this incident? No he is not. Was the family owed compensation? Yes they were.

As far as BLM and hood rats being shot I feel no sympathy. Their criminal lifestyles created the conflict with police to begin with. Do ghetto lives matter? Not much.

The story won’t get much traction because the victim was white.
