I recently played bass in a rap group of 6 black guys. I'll have to try and find some of the pictures, but it was funny seeing a 6' tall white girl playing bass (another funny stereotype is all black guys know how to play bass) with nothing but a bunch of black guys.
I don't have issues based on skin color, but I do have issues with people being douchebags, regardless of what they look like.
I can play bass. Never studied. Just woke up one morning and I was Stanley Clarke.
If you were a white man you'd have problems from the black men. However, you're the cherished white woman that the black men want, thus why they're nice to you. Piece of ass is all
I'd like to call you a racist piece of barnyard detritus, but I'd probably get in trouble..........
Ummm... wow. Do we have an ignore function on the board???? Funny, my husband never has a problem w/ them, either, & he's as white as they come. You think they all want him, too??
Scared? No but I am wary and keep an eye on the "gangsta" types that I see. It seem some of them want you to fear them. I won't give them that satisfaction but I keep aware of them if they are in my immediate vicinity.
Exactly! Like the dumb ass I ran into the other day coming out of a gas mart got in his car left his door wide open and cranked up his rap and then preceded to sit there jiving along just begging someone to say something to him. I pulled out my phone and asked him if he was going to leave , turn it off or have me call the sheriff? Then I walked around to look at his license plate as he shut his door and left, giving me his bad ass gangbanger stare down. I almost pointed my finger at him to pretend to shoot ala Walt Kowalski, but thought better of it. The absence of black fathers as role models is a serious issue today!

Here's what I wonder: When we finally have the technology to download the last 72 hours of people's minds to find out whether they were real heroes or merely trash talking pieces of barnyard refuse, will the devices be able to get past serious personality defects like the above and find out what really happened?
I see no blacks or latinos begging for money at the freeway exits around here.
I see no whites or blacks lining up for any work that pays pennies on the dollar at home depot parking lots.
I have been victim of theft by blacks latinos and whites.
I was at Burger King awaiting a client to drop off some computer project, and a Black family
parks alongside their Hyundai, in a Hyundai as well. THe father, and the daughter both exit pounding their doors into the other little Hyundai doors. They had little regard for it or actually I would be fair to say their had NO regard for what they did.
Now imagine that they are not black. There are people in all walks of life and it really is not fair to stereotype that you could fear a black male somewhere. For example, such as the movie scene Sandra Bullock plays in the movie Crash where she gets closer to her husband as she is passing two black males along a busy shopping area in a nicer town.
The thread can go on and on.
Some can say that Black males or Blacks in general are the *most* prejudice people, or some can say something else.
I don't like things some people do. But then maybe they don't like things I do.
We should concentrate less about it and concentrate how we are put on this Earth together and how we are going to stay together.
