I'll be honest. I didn't know who Matthew Dowd was until I heard abut his comments. But according to the link in the OP, he is not a reporter for ABC News (he's paid by ABC to give his opinions) and he made his comments on his personal Twitter feed. Was he wrong to ay what he said? Yes, I believe so, but many C-D posters say worse things about people on the other side of the aisle from them. I bet ABC will distance themselves from him and I hope he is soon looking for new work.
