I would wager cost burden via regulations and taxes. Reduce both or one of the two.

Easy. No unions. Right to work state. No UAW quacks getting 90 per hour.

Shipping is dirt cheap! I know a guy that builds stuff for small recreational/expiramental aircraft. His components are imported in bulk. They do require final machining and assembly at his end before he sells them. He'd get it domestically if he could.
Point is, to move 300k (wholesale price) in inventory from overseas to the port of Miami then to be checked by customs and then hauled via truck to his location. Peanuts.
You think only 1 barge will be contracted to ship only BMWs back to Europe, China etc? Or that it costs millions? LOL

LOL I KNEW IT! Socialist!
Paid less? Considering their costs of living are significantly cheaper, taxes significantly lower... benefits? Ahh the almighty "Benefits" LOL what benefits would those be? "Free health insurance" 8 weeks paid vacation? What are these Benefits you speak of?

My guys get benefits. I hire them. 0 experience. Educate them. No college degree no x years worth of experience necessary.
I just saved them thousands.
Next benefit obviously workers comp and health insurance. If ACA disappeared and things went to how they were before ACA they'd have cheaper premiums more coverage no deductibles and affordable co-pays.
Paid vacation. However if they choose to not take a vacation, they will be paid for it.

Yeah, "greed is good" ...unless you're the one having to pay for it!

BTW, how much do your workers make per hour? Care to share?
My youngest guy turns 20 soon. He's 19 making 18 per hour.
Oldest guy on my crew makes 46.50 per hour.

Thanks Bigly Donald! Making America Groan Again!

Newsflash: Toys sold everywhere are made in China. They'll still be cheaper at Walmart.

But hey, at least you've revealed yourself as someone who revels in others' financial pain. It takes all kinds.

Oh other benefit. They don't have to burn gas to drive to work. I'll pick them up on my way in too, there's another cost burden I save them. Because fuel is a write off for me.

Never mind the rest of your tripe.

Answer the question.

Why do you oppose and make excuses for billion dollar corporations to continue to farm things out and not perform here in the states?

What's the matter?
Afraid you can't push socialism onto upcoming generations?
Justify high taxes to go along with welfare?
NIMBY?

What is it? Really. Honestly. Why do you oppose doing more business here?
Billion dollar corporations could return manufacturing to the US and they still could make billion dollar profits. But they would automate their entire processes and actually hire very few workers. Automation and robotics would replace most of them that were formerly needed.

Thats the crucial point that you miss.

And we all know--because Trump told us--that tariffs are a tax on foreign companies--not us...

The Venezuelans will end up regretting fleeing to Miami and Houston since the economic malaise followed them.

Like I didn't know that, Captain Obvious!

Oh, I revel in others' financial pain? Your crystal balls must have gone dark and your Ouija Board is not revealing all! I just read the news. I don't make it!

I guess you better get on the horn and call BMW up and tell them the billions they're wasting paying South Carolinians, rather than having 100% automation.
