Yes, yes we get it. This is the new Democrat talking point. It wasn't a sham. It just didn't go the way you hoped. They DID talk to all of the people who provided statements to the Senate Judiciary Committee - you know - the ones who Ford claimed was there and did not corroborate her story. At that time, the argument was they needed to be questioned by the FBI because somehow that would magically make them change their story. Flake asked to do that and then the moving goalposts games by the Democrats began. So the investigation was expanded from the original request of the Democrats so they could talk to anyone the FBI deemed they needed to speak to and you're not happy with that list either (shocker I tell you). Now that the investigation is done, you're declaring it was a sham. Basically, the Democrats are intellectually dishonest. Nothing surprising there - par for the course for Democrats. It's practically their party motto.
Remember when Hillary Clinton was interviewed by the FBI? The GOP made sure that report was made public.
But the GOP is doing everything they can do block the Kavanaugh FBI report to remain secret, even though tens of millions of Americans (on both sides of the issue) want to see it.
Republicans are being hypocritical, but what else is new.

The Russia investigation is supported by pretty much 70% of the population.... so that implies that it's more than just left leaning individuals - including moderates and independents.

As demanded for weeks, the FBI investigated the accusations against Kavanaugh. The accusations were he groped Ford at a party in 1982, he flashed his penis at Ramirez at a Yale party and he led a gang rape ring in high school.
He testified that he liked to drink in college, and sometimes drank too much. His former roommate coming forward confirming what he already stated under oath has nothing to do with the FBI investigation. They weren't charged with investigating if he drank, or the meaning of terms in his high school yearbook. People keep moving the goalposts.
Very little established but then I just clicked on a news item that said Ford is now willing to turn over all her therapy notes to the FBI....
Ford's attorney said they would turn over her notes on the condition Ford was interviewed by the FBI...

I'm sure the FBI would have been happy to do a thorough and complete investigation. But they were ordered not to do that. The Left does not hate the FBI for following White House orders.
Why is it so important to have this guy on the Supreme who has never tried a case. Was this the best they could find or is there some other reason why a more experienced conservative nominee would not do?
Not that it really matters, but it isn't true that he never tried a case.
Besides, what's more important for a nominee to the SC, having experience as a judge or experience trying cases ?

The goalposts for a Justice have always been the same: integrity, non-partisan, level temperament, honesty, and ethical.
