Not sure if this has been shared?

Quote:
Amid an ongoing probe into separate allegations against Kavanaugh, the Iowa Republican asked Attorney General Jeff Sessions and FBI Director Christopher Wray on Saturday to look into what he described as “materially false statements” provided to Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) last week.

The man who made the accusation later “recanted his story,” saying he’d “made a mistake,” the Providence Journal reported.

How can you be so wrong, and just say you made a mistake?

Unless you have pure hate for someone. Hopefully this person get what he deserves...

It actually sounded like one of those paranoid Trump tweets, and despite the RWNJs ability to kid themselves into believing that just everyone believes it--nobody other than the extremist right wingers do.
Exactly. What the hell was that all about?

And "the left" and "the far left" are worlds apart, politically speaking.

I think that if he replaced Roberts with someone similar to Roberts, you might hear a little griping, but that person would make it through the confirmation process quickly.

And as you say, you are not left or right, yet here you are only supporting the left...funny....

As long as we're playing this game, really anything is possible.

Her reputation is taking a beating because she was apparently rather promiscuous during her younger years.

maybe that's why she was targeted. Who knows?
BINGO ! so what you mean is she wasn't 'squeaky clean' back then. ? She's a nutcase.

This. EXACTLY.

I was raped violently by an acquaintance when I was a teenager. I was injured. I was bruised and my lip was busted. I went to the police. I went to my best friend - in fact, I even stayed with her a few days because I was scared for my parents, especially my dad, to see how banged up I was - I was afraid my dad might twist off and go kill somebody and that was the last thing I needed at that time.

I told the police exactly where I was, the address, the whole shebang. Now - today I don't remember the address, and I sure don't remember the name of the other guy who was there (probably because we were never introduced) but I did recall plenty when I made the police report.

Just for the record, no drugs or alcohol or party was involved. But if it had been, I would have been able to be specific.

I suspect it might depend on how the grandmother died. My mom lived with us. She was dying, we all knew it. The object was to make her as comfortable as we could. Hospice came once a week. She lived 4 months longer than they expected. By the time she died, the family was just happy she was out of misery. DD helped get her dressed for the funeral home to come get her. We discussed our plan with them, then went on about our business. IIRC i went to the grocery store because i had not done any grocery shopping for weeks. We did our grieving for the year before.

You'll get no response from lefty, she just keeps throwing out left wing talking points and acting like she isn't making some of the dumbest comments in this thread.

I've seen the Building Permit from her remodel that caused Ford & hubby into couples counseling in 2012. The permit was for 2006.

So why is this innocent man trying to get his friends to cover for him on a story before it ever became public - story he said, under oath, he never heard of until it came out in the New Yorker?
