Amid an ongoing probe into separate allegations against Kavanaugh, the Iowa Republican asked Attorney General Jeff Sessions and FBI Director Christopher Wray on Saturday to look into what he described as “materially false statements” provided to Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) last week.
It was incredibly bizarre and really stupid for him to make the remark about the Clintons, who have absolutely nothing to do with any of this ****show right out of the blue for no reason at all.
Everyone picked up on it immediately, and pegged him as not only partisan, but prone toward conspiracy theories. Just a really really stupid thing to say, and I think it made everyone think twice about his judgment.
It actually sounded like one of those paranoid Trump tweets, and despite the RWNJs ability to kid themselves into believing that just everyone believes it--nobody other than the extremist right wingers do.

She might have had bruises or scratches.
She could have told them where she was that night, how she got there and how she got home.
Police could have ascertained whether Kavanaugh was even at the location and how much he had drunk.

I was raped violently by an acquaintance when I was a teenager. I was injured. I was bruised and my lip was busted. I went to the police. I went to my best friend - in fact, I even stayed with her a few days because I was scared for my parents, especially my dad, to see how banged up I was - I was afraid my dad might twist off and go kill somebody and that was the last thing I needed at that time.
I told the police exactly where I was, the address, the whole shebang. Now - today I don't remember the address, and I sure don't remember the name of the other guy who was there (probably because we were never introduced) but I did recall plenty when I made the police report.
Just for the record, no drugs or alcohol or party was involved. But if it had been, I would have been able to be specific.

I suspect it might depend on how the grandmother died. My mom lived with us. She was dying, we all knew it. The object was to make her as comfortable as we could. Hospice came once a week. She lived 4 months longer than they expected. By the time she died, the family was just happy she was out of misery. DD helped get her dressed for the funeral home to come get her. We discussed our plan with them, then went on about our business. IIRC i went to the grocery store because i had not done any grocery shopping for weeks. We did our grieving for the year before.

You'll get no response from lefty, she just keeps throwing out left wing talking points and acting like she isn't making some of the dumbest comments in this thread.
So why is this innocent man trying to get his friends to cover for him on a story before it ever became public - story he said, under oath, he never heard of until it came out in the New Yorker?
Don't know what people will expect the FBI probe to find, ...............
