If she had further questions, the remedy was to call security rather than following the man to his apartment.

You are clearly obsessing over his race when my post is devoid of any such discussion. The point is that security is paid to handle these situations for a reason.

You are also making assumptions. How did he gain entry initially? Some building allow access during certain times. Sometimes people leave doors open. We have no idea what the circumstances were but she was wrong from the start. He said he had already buzzed in. She said he didn’t. She was walking her dog around. How would she know?

People such as yourself are too race obsessed. There are proper ways to handle these situation. The woman did not handle properly from start to finish and she is out of a job because of it. That’s her own doing.

So she's just guilty of not handling it properly?

That's a major offense, not knowing exactly what to do when someone slips in behind you without keying in. Well, according to the lynch mob here, that is racist, she should be kicked out of her apartment and be fired from her job.

She actually could have been arrested if he had wanted to push it. Blocking someone from entering their own dwelling is a violation of the kidnapping laws.

She wanted him arrested for living in "her" building. Or she wanted the cops to break down his door and shoot him. There is no other reason she would have called the cops after watching him use his key to enter his apartment.

Instead, she lost her job and her name is plastered all over the Internet, so this will show up every time she applies for another job. That's instant karma.

How many people in big apartment buildings recognize all of their neighbors? Basically none.

And what if she still thought he didn't live there? People can grab your key in any number of ways.

It's an example of the lynch mob, at its finest.

It's an example of her employer deciding not having her work for them is better than having her work for them. This is on her.

By that line of reasoning, how do we know SHE lived there? Anyone demand to see HER ID? How do we know that SHE didn't grab somebody's key and use it to enter an apartment that wasn't hers?

Yeah, your argument really is that stupid.

Yeah, your argument really is that stupid.

Wasn't she supposedly the one who entered the keypad access codes to get into the building, and he slipped in behind her?

People can also grab keyfobs any number of ways. So even if she did watch him scan the fob and get in, if watching him use the key on his apartment door isn't good enough because the key might have been stolen, then scanning the keyfob isn't good enough either because she could just think maybe he stole the keyfob. So report anyone in your building you don't recognize to the cops even if they have their keys? It's absurd. If every apartment dweller did that, every police station's phone would be constantly ringing off the hook and police would spend all their time investigating people entering apartments, 99.9% of the time the people who lawfully live there.
