That happened just as I believe this will happen.
It only takes one soldier to feel this invasion is a real threat to the country, and without thinking, opens up.
When that happens, all hell is going to break out.
This has been a long time coming, and it is only going to take one shot, to start a war.
Regardless of what anyone thinks, I believe this IS going to happen.
I also believe, when the smoke clears, Trump will fill the air ways stating, "now that the military is involved, we are going to start deporting all those who are in the country illegally".
The climate will be right for deportations to take place.
President Trump has sent troops to guard the southern border, but the military lacks teeth to actually do anything to stop the oncoming invasion.
They are there only to "help" border patrol.
As sure as I am writing this post, I know, someone in the military is going to open fire on these invaders.
Not exactly what the circumstances of the provocation will be, but for sure it is going to happen.
With over 5000 troops headed there, the chances of one, or more military personnel actively engaged in protecting the border, opening fire, is very real.
I fully expect this to happen, and it will happen with in days of the large surge of illegals at the border.
I believe this action will not be as a direct order, bur rather the actions of one or more service people who see this as an invasion, and possible danger to the country.
Who ever fires the shot,it will be his/her own decision, but it will happen.

Let's stop trying to hide the fact that these people are here in violation of our laws by making it sound like a paperwork problem. I get that some of you don't like the word "alien" (although it is technically correct and Clinton used it), so let's switch to "migrants." These people are "illegal migrants" and they and their children should not be profiting from American taxpayer support.
This whole "military can't be used to repel invaders" thing is nonsensical. Whats the point of having a military if that was true?
The US military can be used to defend any other nation but the US?

I think anyone attempting to enter the US without authorization ought to be shot. The military will shoot you if you attempt to enter a secure government facility - but they won't shoot if you're breaking into the home of 300M Americans?
You see how crazy that interpretation of military power is? The United States, all of it, is under Federal protection. The US Federal government, has the authority, and the responsibility, to provide defense of it. Against all threats.
These invaders have already shown they WILL be violent to break into another country...they bloodied Mexican police pretty badly and tore down fences even today they did. THAT is an act of assault and SHOULD be met with deadly force. Maybe that will send a signal a weak spine leader is no longer running the show in DC that we WILL defend our borders with force.
