Clearly obviously this is pure campaigning - House and Senate ain’t even in session and won’t be until after the election - no chance to pass these cuts. He’s trying to “buy” the election by bribing middle class voters to vote Repub in 2 weeks.
Note to N.Pelosi and C.Schumer: Hold a press conference and announce:
“Dems propose middle Class tax cuts. If we win in November, we’ll pass tax cuts for Middle Class, but, unlike lying F’ing Moron, we’ll pay for these tax cuts by reversing tax cuts on high-earners. Vote Dems and we’ll not only give Middle Class tax cuts, but, we’ll get tax revenue back from high earners so that Soc.Sec., Medicare, and Medicaid won’t need to be cut.” “Vote Dems!”
I’ve noticed that the tax cuts are ALREADY showing to be a temporary boost to the GDP....aka sugar high to the GDP. Q2: GDP was up to 4%. Q3 looks like it’s already falling to 3.4 - good, but trending down.
Guess u Missed Harris and her stump speech where she said the Dems will scrap the tax cuts and raise taxes to epic levels to pay for universal income for the middle class. But, leaves out the poor and upper middle class. So by the chart and my income Harris and the dems would increase my federal taxes by 40% but, BUT, they will give me back $1200 and leave out the lower classes as well as the upper middle class. More proof that Dems hate poor black people. ***** be cray.
Nice dodge! You don’t wanna hazard a guess as to why GDP suddenly became 4% since it was 2% for YEARS. They haven’t been volatile at all! - Every quarter is + or- .1% the same #. Just a coincidence that tax cuts happened?! CBO and virtually all others have predicted tax cuts will result in short term blip which’ll die off by 2019. Virtually everyone predicted EXACTLY what’s happening and you choose to ignore it!

Where did you happen to find this “supply-side cuts are structured that over years you’ll see improvements” nonsense?! That’s a wish and a dream! Can you site a reputable economist that says this?!
I won’t bother to send links re: Reagan’s tax cuts which temporarily boosted GDP and productivity - both fell later. Google it if you care.
Another silly way to look at this is let’s reconvene in 5-10 years and guess if your “structured cuts” boosted productivity! Productivity has been stagnant due to lack of major innovations. Tax cuts ain’t gonna boost productivity.
It's not + or - .1%, q1 was 2.2% and q2 was 4.2%. That's a 100% increase when virtually nothing in the markets has fundamentally changed. Did Trump's tax cuts (which mostly went to stock buy-backs) suddenly kick in q2? No, that's why it doesn't make sense to attribute 4.2% growth to Trump's tax plan.
I don't generally believe in supply-side economics, but you miss the point anyways. In general, the point of giving a corporation a tax break is to incentivize investments in productivity. Or, at least thats how it's sold by conservative economists. For example, if you give a factory owner a tax cut, he may invest in a more efficient plant. Business decisions don't happen overnight, and neither do changes in productivity.
Again, I think this is all bogus because consumer spending makes up 70% of the economy. Consumers wield the ultimate power here.

There will be no middle-income tax cuts. Trump figures if he can get 2% of those who might vote for democrats to swallow that jive, it will be worth putting one more giant lie (of thousands) on his record.
