What proof do you have that this is a false flag? OK, I'll even settle for high quality evidence. It's usually a bad idea to make an assertion about guilty parties only hours into these kinds of events.

Only liberals are capable of incompetence at this level.

So the answer is they were planted by TDS addled liberals.
Are you forgetting Weather Underground and the Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA) back in the 70s? Or during that same decade, West Germany's Red Army Faction, Canada" FLQ (Quebec Liberation Front)? Or even the more left-leaning factions of the IRA?

These mailed fake bombs are just the next logical step in the activities encouraged by LWLTs like Mad Max, Schumer, etc. The next step will be not-so-fake ones sent to anyone with an R after their name.

The packages going to high profile political officials and places like CNN get x-rayed and they know what to look for to make that call of "suspicious."

Good point. Not only that, they don't always arrive via marked USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc., vehicles. Sometimes it's a plain white truck/van, and sometimes it's a Penske, Enterprise, etc., rental truck/van. If you're not expecting a package, be suspicious.

Anyone who doesn't think all packages sent to well known politicians and news agencies aren't stopped and scrutinized,
x-rayed is very naive.

Agreed. Most sane people would never want to actually hurt anyone. Who knows if this was actually a conservative person or not? People make the strangest mental connections sometimes. BTW, the bombs were real. The Secret Service screens the mail of the former POTUS. If they come across suspicious packages, they alert the Bomb Squad, who then examines and safely detonates the package. It is quite likely they would have caused severe injury or death if former POTUS or First Ladies had opened them themselves.

And is a single prominent right winger defending this? Didn’t think so.

They weren't deemed real bombs, they were "potential" explosive devices. AKA, fake bombs.
