It’s difficult to feel that sense “of all being in this together,” when one is referred to as a pathetic unintelligent person, by people who literally live in this forum and spend their entire day and night posting against our President.
And posting against 10s of millions of their fellow Americans too. Posting hatred for "flyover country". Posting hatred for the South. It goes on & on.

Yes. There are those people.
But there are also Republican crazies in this thread stating that this is a fake story, or this was a democrat plot, or who knows what else.
There are people who live on this forum posting crazy things against democrats, and crazy democrats who hate republicans.
But by and large, for the most part, in real life, most of us get along.
Or anyway, that's my life. I have many friends on both sides - and we all get along - as most in the US seem to.

You are taking this way too personal, no one is blaming you Waldo so relax a bit. I live in the South, not everybody down here are conservatives. You worrying about 10s of millions of other people, you can't speak for them, just worry about you. They are all not on CD, they don't know you exist, so why get your blood pressure up worrying about all these millions of people. All that matter is your opinion on this forum.
Trump has been so utterly graceless in his reactions to this situation.
As shown on ABC Evening News, this afternoon a reporter asked him if he would be contacting the Obamas, Clintons and other bomb recipients now that the crisis is passing - he looked astonished that anyone would suggest this and said no, he wouldn't - unless they wanted him to. Didn't seem to have a clue that it would be an act of solidarity and appreciation to express his thankfulness that no one was harmed and that law enforcement performed extremely well.
I cannot imagine either the Bushes (since they were the most recent previous Republican presidents) reacting that way, had they been in the White House when members of the opposing party received threats of this kind. Nor can I imagine any other president failing to comprehend why it would be a good thing to reach out, reassure and express concern and gratitude and solid rejection of such violence.
Yet Trump seemed shocked that anyone would suggest that he do this, and clearly failed to comprehend why such a suggestion was made.

So you let an idiot at ABC News set you up with nonsense. First the presumption that Trump had something to do with it. And second that these Democrat politicians are owed an "apology" by ANYONE other than the bomber.
