I can't find any links re this, but I remember Obama saying that even if he had been able to run again, he wouldn't have (even though he might have want to personally) because Michelle wouldn't have put up with it...would have left him.

Although I didn't find anything re that, one of the hits that came up was an interesting Washington Post article that included a passage that Obama sent the Clinton campaign at least 15 e-mails telling them that she wasn't connecting with lower income voters:

The American economy is resilient and doing well in spite of the Dufus currently in the White House, not because of it.

I'm dealing with the insanity of democrats on a number of fronts.
Wait your turn and hold your breath like a toddler wanting more candy. While doing that consider how numbers are manipulated in many ways to show what ever the manipulators want to show. Then breath !!! In with the good air, out with the bad. Unlike democrat policies, breathing never fails to nourish the mind.

The numbers are manipulated because all the good jobs have been sent to China. No good jobs left so we desperately need those jobs back so people can have jobs in America again. Real unemployment is closer to 50%. Trump is a liar.

It's actually 761,000 jobs, and the UE Rate is 3.5%.

The UE Rate dropped from 3.6% in September to 3.5% in October in spite of the number of unemployed Americans increasing from 5,766,000 to 5,771,000.

That's 4,104,000 jobs so far this year.

The total for 2017 was 3,075,000 and for 2016 it was 2,761,000.

Job growth during Obama's reign was never over 4 Million.

The increase in unemployed workers is due to an increase of people joining the labor force in the strong jobs market. The number not in the labor force decreased from 96,332,000 to 95,792,000 or 540,000.

There was a slight up-tick in both the Labor Force Participation Rate and the Employment-to-Population Ratio.

The number of unemployed Americans is at historic lows.

This is the fourth month this year with less than 6 Million unemployed.

To find that in the past, you have to go back to May 2001 (5.9 Million). There were 8 months in 2000 with less than 6 Million unemployed, 7 months in 1999, 5 months in 1998 and 3 months in 1997.

Before that, you have to go back to November 1979.

Note that between 1997 and 2000 your population was 50-60 Million people less, and 94 Million less in 1979, so it's quite an achievement.

As has been noted ad infinitum, the FED did the heavy, heavy lifting. Mr Obama did what he does best; smile, smirk and posture.

Also, huge thanks to President Trump for not really doing anything that impacts the economy at all so the growth can continue. Trump is taking a "if it ain't broke, don't mess with it" approach.
