Deserves more viewing.

No snark, no smirk, no partisan spin.

Will the midterms be historic in ignoring what is across the board, a fundamentally strong, robust and broadly growing economy?

That's 4,104,000 jobs so far this year.

The total for 2017 was 3,075,000 and for 2016 it was 2,761,000.

Job growth during Obama's reign was never over 4 Million.

The increase in unemployed workers is due to an increase of people joining the labor force in the strong jobs market. The number not in the labor force decreased from 96,332,000 to 95,792,000 or 540,000.

There was a slight up-tick in both the Labor Force Participation Rate and the Employment-to-Population Ratio.

The number of unemployed Americans is at historic lows.

This is the fourth month this year with less than 6 Million unemployed.

To find that in the past, you have to go back to May 2001 (5.9 Million). There were 8 months in 2000 with less than 6 Million unemployed, 7 months in 1999, 5 months in 1998 and 3 months in 1997.

Before that, you have to go back to November 1979.

Note that between 1997 and 2000 your population was 50-60 Million people less, and 94 Million less in 1979, so it's quite an achievement.

And now we have 4 non-responsive replies in a row. How many more times do I need to ask: If democratic policies fail to "nourish the mind" (your term) then why did democratic policies produce such spectacular results in 1965-66 and 1977-78?

I wonder how many more non-responsive replies we're going to get from you. Clearly you are afraid to reply to my question.

I didn't even bother to read your question.
I've considered them in the past and they have shown no improvement or relevance to today.
When I have time and absolutely nothing else to do I'll go back and take a look.

But that is because so many were jobless in those older years. Now that we are near or at "full employment" to have this level of hiring is much harder.

That being said I do believe a good portion of this is cyclical not President Trump and sooner or later the tide will turn again regardless of who is president.

But its a lie though. Median wages are not up. Wall Street wages are up. Not wages for Joe Sixpack adjusted for inflation.

Labor force participation rate is flat. US labor force participation rates are still one of the lowest in the rich world.

Its not strong and robust. We all know that unemployment figures are fake. Unemployment is closer to 40%. McJobs are created more than anything. Joe Sixpack's wage is also stagnating.

"everybody"? Nothing in that article says that the typical wage adjusted for inflation is increasing. Inflation is at its fastest pace in a long time. And inequality continues to skyrocket.

Corporate media loves to talk about average wages not adjusted for inflation and inequality. What matters for Joe Sixpack is median wages adjusted for inflation.

Would that surprise you? Today, some solidly good economic news comes out and what is dear leader doing? Tweeting out racial hatred and division and fear and totally ignoring the economic reports. Blame him.
