Far-leftists were firmly in power in almost all of central and South America. The silly "Brexit" thing was about to get shot down.

My, how things have changed...............Brexit, Trump, Brazil elections, Kavanaugh, and now Canada: conservatives have trounced the Liberals all across Canada in the last two years, from Ontario to Manitoba to Quebec. And now the MOST leftist province of all, New Brunswick (every single one of its federal seats was won by the Liberals in 2015) has just this week tossed the Liberal premier for a Conservative. Alberta will do the same early next year.
The three biggest countries in the western hemisphere are throwing off their shackles now. A groundswell has even begun in Europe (Italy, Hungary, Czechoslovokia, etc.).
What an exciting time to be alive!

My own personal icing on the cake is that here in the uber-left New England, we are wrapping up eight years of having the single most conservative governor in the country (and Trump even won one of our two congressional districts). Much of the northeast is now purple turning to red....

Suck it, Libs!! lol
Ok---nice Bannon impression. LOL.

I was born and raised in NE. There have always been pockets of red. It will never be purple.

BTW, Brexiters are having buyers' remorse. Bigly. Your world-wide right-wing white nationalist coalition is disintegrating.

"...More than 70 business leaders have signed a letter to the Sunday Times calling for a public vote on the UK's Brexit deal....

"The chief executive of Waterstones and former Sainsbury's boss Justin King are among those saying a "destructive hard Brexit" will damage the UK economy.

A group called Business for a People's Vote will launch on Thursday..."

Hispanic or Latino, percent(b) = 18.1%

White alone, not Hispanic or Latino, percent =60.7%

(a)Includes persons reporting only one race
(b)Hispanics may be of any race, so also are included in applicable race categories

White alone includes Hispanic Whites. So your math is irrelevant.

I'm sure Hispanics remember Trump dissing a US-Born, US Citizen Hispanic federal judge. Plus his grossly irresponsible (if not indifferent) treatment of Puerto Rico in the Hurricane Maria aftermath. Not to mention his glossing over (to say the least) behaviors of the alt-Right. And did I forget about his "****holes" remark about Central American and African countries? It's gonna take more than low unemployment to overcome this kind of track record.

#walkaway is a fake narrative trotted out by the Russians and so, of course, it's been shared by conservatives all over this site and others.

What does a rich politician know about hard work? Regardless of party affiliation. Nothing. Trump con was better then Hillary’s was all. It’s stup too assume that a bunch of rich politicians who’ve never done a hard day of work in thier lives give a damn about TRUE hard working people. Those hard working Americans who did vote for Trump were suckers and are starting to regret it. Fast.
Trump sits on a golden toilet and tweets out insults, rubs the magic Orb of the Saudi's and conservatives think he's an all-knowing God that cares about them.

IMO, Hillary, the left as a whole is no better they were all born with a silver in thier mouths. They care about staying rich and in power. Even to some extent the left uses religion to get/stay in office.

Walkaway is real. Did you miss their rally in dc a couple of weeks ago? Heard of Blexit?
I know a lot of people that used to vote dem, now voting repub.
They see the results of trump policies...440k new manufacturing jobs, 4 percent growth, lowest unemployment in half a century, ending TPP.
Obama told us "manufacturing jobs are gone. 2 percent growth is the new normal. People see who is getting results.

Walkaway is FAKE - complete with false, fake, stock photos and can be traced to a russkie tr*ll farm.

Did YOU miss the number of Republicans who have denounced their party and have publicly stated they will be voting Democrat this election?

Captain Sully, Steve Schmidt; Nicole Wallace, Joe Scarborough and those are just off the top of my head.

So peddle your falsehoods somewhere else.

As I said - this election is NOT about money.

??

Wut?

What do you think hard work is? Putting up 10 miles of fence post without gloves on? Digging a trench without 10 razorback picks or a ditch witch?

Work smart.

Did you vote yet? If not, can I buy your vote? I'll give you 10+ rep points to go R instead of I.

Joe Scarborough?!? Morning Joe?

He knows politics?

He's an "artist".

He can afford to be a Democrat.

I might check a new thread or two every now and then, and this morning the title of yours drew me in as some thread titles sometimes do...

Also of course, I started reading your intro, and I started to get the feeling you were writing something not only factual but intelligent. Something worth commenting about and no doubt there is plenty what to comment about in return, but then I got to your childish "Suck it, Libs!" exclamation, and too bad. I have little choice but to conclude you are just another wanting to stir the partisan divide pot like all too many do in this forum, with impenetrable blinded bias.

I thank you, however, for reminding me what a trip down the mental toilet drain this forum can be more often than not and why I really should move onto doing something a little more productive and mature. Here's to a better tomorrow and maybe a better America too, despite our differences.

Exactly! Read all about it!

“The radical Democrats want to plunge our country into a nightmare of gridlock, poverty and chaos, you know that. They want to impose socialism on our country, turn us into another Venezuela, throw your borders wide open to deadly drugs and ruthless gangs. ‘Come on in everybody! Come on in!’”

This is radioactive for American conservatives who fear illegal immigration more than anything else. It is especially incendiary in the border state of Arizona, nowhere more so than where we are tonight – Mesa, an outpost of Phoenix that was home to Sheriff Arpaio’s 24-year reign of terror against Hispanic undocumented immigrants.

Which came first: Trump’s extremist vision of an immigrant dystopia, or the equally febrile fears of his followers? Who knows. But they make great bedfellows.

In the crowd is Shadow Lane, 42, a boutique owner from Cottonwood, Arizona. She has a Q drawn on her cheek for QAnon, the far-right conspiracy theory network.
