The problem is this country has become a nation of identities. The left massacred Kavanaugh to play to their female base and THAT is who came out in force to flip the house.
Guilty or not the college educated (that's important) females decided he was guilty. They threw out due process in favor of identity justice.
It seems like "old, white males" are the only group who is not innately focused on their identity but instead on ideas and reason. It seems for females, it's all about female interests, for the rest it's all about what's good for the interests as an ethnic group or "people of color" vs white. Some might say people like me do the same, but it's just a reaction to not having any other viable defense against identity politcs and fighting fire with fire.
I was born in the 50s....and I have a very strong moral compass.
I am indescribably disappointed with the events of the past two years, the lead up to this mid-term election, and the results. I am looking for ways to disengage myself from this sick society. Keeping up with the news and staying informed is literally making me ill, so things have to change for me. Where I live, election results indicate real disinterest with making our state affordable and curbing costs (again). I guess I should start by shutting off this laptop.
And the people who support him actually know Trump lies all the time.

Democrats have no right to talk when it comes to corruption. Neither party does. If you think yours does you are delusional and blind. The answer is to vote them all out and insert term limits. Completely change how campaign finance can be done.

Can you please read hidden tribes. America currently has 7 different identity tribes. 4 on the left, 1 center and 2 on the right. These political identities are extreme. On the cringe left is full of feminists, sjws woke pro blacks. On the cringe right is full of black conservatives, white nationalist, Alt Right populist and to some extent Bible thumpers. Your moral compass depends on the echo chamber you belong too.
I feel sorry for politicians who jump into the identity politics soup to get votes. Do these politicians know that woke blacks, feminists and sjws really want you as a politician, you must stand by your actions and words. But these politicians don't stand by their word in favor of k Street and wall Street corporate greed and lobbying. I hope the regressive left exposes those above politicians for who they really are. In done. Time for me to worry about the holidays. Same could be said for Republicans Rinos.

They come from places that have heavily indroctrinated school systems, plus they control the radio, media and entertainment that is constantly beating in the heads of these people how to think, how to dress and how to vote.
Either that, or they are putting something in the water to create these zombies. Just saying, out of all the people that live in these districts, these 4 are the best that they can do? Gotta be something in the water, or the education is just brainwashing and no critical thinking skills are taught.

Can you please put forth a code of conduct that you believe defines morality? No matter what you come up with, I will posit that all of us fall short, including you, so I'm less than impressed at your claim that half the country has no moral compass. The fact is that all of us have a moral compass that guides our personal ethics, and while there are likely common threads, in the end, we all practice moral relativism. In other words, you enjoy stirring the pot and trashing everyone who disagrees with you, but you are just as full of contradictions as the rest of us.
