Just did a search and lo and behold, there is nothing to corroborate the OP's post. What's the point is posting such obvious fiction? Takes about 2 seconds to disprove it.
I happen to have just corrected it then came upon this post of yours the next page. (fyi I realized it myself before clicking on the 3rd page) Kudos for spotting that! But more precisely, it's not a misspelling in the same way as the one in that article. I simply typed the wrong word.
Incidentally, off-topic: Does anyone have the same problem as I have: getting extra blank line spacing after posting?
P.S. I wish people don't start such misleadingly titled threads. It's achieves nothing but just wasting everybody's time and disappointing some people unnecessarily.
P.P.S. Roboteer, please scan this post and tell me if I had misspelled any word.
Santa Monica Observer is a free weekly newspaper. That alone doesn't mean it's not reliable, but since this is the only reference (so far?) to Ginsburg retiring, it does seem a bit suspect. Stan Greene is listed s "staff writer." I don't know if that means he's a columnist or what. Given the spelling errors in the piece, I'm not sure if an editor looked over the piece before posting it either. The piece he has written doesn't even include "soures say," much less names any sources. The first thing the OP should have done when coming across this article is to a Google search on RBG. I just did and there is nothing on her impending retirement.
