The day after she’s “inaugurated” she wishes she could “sign” healthcare. At least she’s entertaining.

We listen to Trump daily with his childless tweets and unfounded claims. And he's our president. Yet, you have the audacity to talk about a first term congress woman.

The only thing that matters is what she does when it comes to voting on the floor. What bills did she introduced THAT got passed. Get back to us with accolades after her first term is over and we can see what she's accomplished. No fake nobel pryze for her.
Bravo!

Not sure whether shadowne meant the post as making fun of her for using the color of the wrong party or for being an outright and unashamed communist, but for those who aren't aware, the red is for the DSA. They're a legacy group descended from some of the far-left socialist groups of the seventies era on back which have somehow had a resurgence of popularity and membership among the most extreme left millennials.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democr...sts_of_America

Republicans often smear Democrats as Communists. They're mostly not. The DSA people really are, hence "Red." The choice of color isn't about confusing Democrat blue and Republican red, she meant what she said, but had old-school Communist red in mind.

I understand why you're showing love for this post, but I think people are missing the point here. People are excited about the potential that Ocasio-Cortez and other newcomers are bringing. We're seeing new personalities, new kinds of people. People that are potentially more in tune with average Americans than other politicians. It's a reason for people on the left to be excited. Of course substance matters, in the grand scheme of things, but let's let them have an opportunity to show us that substance. Nothing wrong with being excited about these newcomer politicians in the meantime, and what they can potentially bring to the table.

Then they'll cooperate with her to try to save their seats.
Or they go too far and people vote against them, which is far more likely.
