LAWL. Not on the domestic CNN at least. It would short the minds of the NPCs. If they can't politicize it to bash Trump, they don't carry it.

Macron is CNN's hero. To the French people, not so much at all.

The French have this odd habit of electing reformers to rule them, and then vociferosly rejecting those leaders when they try to implement the reforms that they were elected to undertake.

This is entirely irrational and unreasonable. It is not clear how France will ever be able to undertake any sort of meaningful reforms as long as they continue to exhibit this pattern of behavior. They appear to be quite stuck.

Lots of mayhem. It's directed against Macron.

Plenty of photos. You sure wouldn't want to be a tourist there now. (not brought to you by the USA MSM)

That comes from having police forces composed mainly of former military members. Keeping up the tradition and having white flags as standard issue for a century now.

Three weeks ago Macron was lecturing the U.S., via President Trump, on how thing should be?? Before Macron starts talking smack about the U.S., maybe he should get his own country in order first.

Macron might be right about the need to build a "European Army." An "European Army" to save Europe from itself!!

If things get tough Macron should ask his BFF, Angela Merkel, if the German Army is available to march back into Paris to "restore" order.

Too funny!!

Default Lousy News Reporting: Paris Riots

Spectacular photos BUT:

The Paris riots are the best current example of lousy news reporting out there. I read 3 different news reports (2 US, 1 UK) on the Paris rioting and not a single one of them tell me how much the fuel taxes went up or how much the cost of living (an aside, taxes is not a cost of living measure which is why they are usually reported separately) has gone up in Paris so that the readers of the articles can form their own opinion about the outrage.

Would you be outraged? Who knows? Where are the before and after money amounts or percentages? Is France in the ballpark of other countries around the world? Why do I have to guess?

By the way, I don't think it's about bias. I think it's plain old news media incompetence. Failure to put all relevant info in the story. If you've read any news media website reports on the riots that tell you how much the French people were paying before and how much they are expected to pay now that prompted these riots, please provide a link. I really want to know.

They aren't reporting it because the tax is being done for, muh climate change, and they don't want to report on this at all, but the resistance has become too large to continue to ignore.

So what keeps FOX & right-wing news from reporting the figures?
