President Emmanuel Macron's economic policies & new taxes on gas/fuel protest turn violent and riot.

One thing we can learn from Europe and France in particular is how taxing people can get out of control. French and European values !!! Europeans have to pay for all the free socialism. Europe is rejecting their own leaders over the economy as its contracting.

Socialism is the cause of all problems and capitalism is always the answer; what a simplistic non-sense. Macron has been unpopular from the beginning and there has been several protests that have turned out violent.

This is mainly about trying to get people away from diesel and gas and to switch to more expensive electric cars; the madness of climate change. But I wonder if this has anything to do with his talk about creating an European military and defending Europe from the US, Russia and China [as most people actually believe the climate hysteria and want action].

Maybe it's just an excuse to get rid of Macron, and the next puppet will pass the tax hikes any way.

People in the US would just whine and cry a little, but ultimately they would pay the new taxes, NO ONE would riot or become violent.

Violent protests by the far-right.

If Trump is removed from office or loses in 2020, I'd expect him to tell his base to "fight back" and what we see happening in Paris may happen in the streets of America. Angry, violent, right-wing protests

The 1992 LA riots don't count?

Btw, there's some Canadians who riot as well, and there's even some riots where the local team lost.

Is that from fearmongering 101 ? The speculation and how to manipulate the weak minded.

According to the link I provided :

Security forces are concerned that far-left and far-right extremists may infiltrate the demonstrations, escalating the crowd-control challenges.

From what I read, they have to pass the tax to be in compliance with the Paris Climate Accord.

Think about what the small group of colonists did when they disagreed with the taxes on English tea...they stole a large amount and destroyed it by dumping it into Boston Harbor!!

Of course they are celebrated as patriots for this today...who else thinks if a small group of people today did the same thing with fuel, they would more than likely be considered terrorists?!!
