Those riots are what people really think about the globalist's "combating climate change" meme.

Macron is on the way out.

Of course the MSM won't talk about it, because they can't make it into another "Orange Man Bad" for the easily influenced.

World oil prices did rise before falling back again but the Macron government raised its hydrocarbon tax this year by 7.6 cents per litre on diesel and 3.9 cents on petrol, as part of a campaign for cleaner cars and fuel.

The decision to impose a further increase of 6.5 cents on diesel and 2.9 cents on petrol on 1 January 2019 was seen as the final straw."
That just illustrates the point that most American news media doesn’t do their job. Editors would help, but the news business has been hit hard by the Internet, so they had to fire a bunch of people. At least the reporters at the BBC reported relevant information.

Again this is put into a right-left political spin.

Here's the deal in France:
The gas tax increase, which is set to go into effect January 1st, would increase the cost of 1 gallon of diesel fuel by about 25 cents. Diesel is the most commonly used fuel in French cars, and prices have already risen by more than 20% over the past year.
The tax increases are designed to discourage people from purchasing vehicles that contribute to climate change, but working-class families who drive old cars insist the tax increase is too much.

In France, Violent Protests Over Gas Tax Increase – The Punching Bag Post

These people aren't rioting over a single tax hike but many hikes over the last year. While the rest of the world is enjoying lower petrol pricing, France is raising prices at a staggering rate.

Macron claims it's to discourage people from buying non-electric cars. BS! It's nothing but a convenient excuse to redistribute the wealth to the government. France is in trouble and needs more money to cover their socialist welfare state. It's that simple.

Like Merkel, Macron is another globalist on the way out.

A Parisian celebration of globalism and their brilliant globalist EU leaders.

How is it that anyone here does not want us to follow in their footsteps?

What'd I miss,

Congratulations on posting the most retarded comment in this thread.

Btw, you should seek out professional mental healthcare if you truly think Trump had anything to do with the rioting in Paris.
