1. Rolling back MPG requirements (allows for more larger vehicles).
2. Denying Global Warming
3. Doing away with other regulations related to transportation
4. Failing to institute new programs to develop our auto industry as a whole - and energy sectors also (other than MORE coal and oil and more pollution)....

The strange thing about Backwards Trumponomics is that the opposite WOULD work. If this country embarked upon massive R&D and Infrastructure...with the HELP of Government in the "big things", we could create a new economy. It's going to happen anyway but with a lot more pain.

Remember, Trump has made it clear that Steel and Manufacturing (and Autos, of course) are extremely important to our national security.

As usual, he made it clear using Bigly Words and Zero Action...in fact, as mentioned, opposite action.

The guy is a nightmare that won't go away. He will end up at the bottom of the list of all POTUS's in history....if we survive the possible WWIII that he won't be able to avoid taking part in.
Right. You hit the main points.

Incorrect.

But I'm assuming you had no problem with Obama did indeed do this, when he handed 100s of millions to GM, and even more subsidizing numerous other failed ventures across the USA.

So Hyundais aren't low cost cars
Elantra, Sonata

Toyota Mississippi Plant: Corolla.

Even the Honda Civic might qualify.......

Average cost for new car is about 37K - these cars are high quality and start as low as 1/2 that.

THEY TOLD HIM THAT. And he failed to listen.

The so called tax reform put us in debt for an additional $1.5T. I just saw Trump claiming credit for 900 GM jobs last year, we were robbed.

Then blame your own party for backing a lame horse like Hillary.... They allowed a token like Bernie to be her only real challenger and they had to cheat so she could beat even him.
If you want to win send a message to your party leadership. No more lame horses.

The Chevy Cruze predates Obama's presidency.
It is a "world car" manufactured in Australia, Brazil, China, Colombia, India, Kazakhstan, Russia, South Korea, Thailand, United States, & Vietnam.

Yeah, like Elizabeth Warren, (aka) Pocahontas, who should scalp Trump of whatever it is, lying on his head and bring back a strong Consumer Protection Bureau that the 'pubs gypped her out of!
