Surprise surprise

GM received record tax breaks as a result of the GOP’s tax bill last year, & has eliminated jobs instead of using that tax windfall to invest in American workers.

Where's that same o lame o loyalty to the 'Invisible Hand'? Where are all the 'Free Market Fundamentalists'?

I am guessing that GM and the Trump administration will be having some sit downs in the near future and trying to figure out a strategy.

Perhaps some have found a better & more suitable use for those 'Invisible Hands'?

So GM should keep the workers employed building products no one wants and then come looking for a bailout?

Guessing there will be more of these 'Art of the Deal' type maneuvers:

GM Defies Trump's Trade Outlook by Building New Chevy Blazer in Mexico

General Motors introduced its new Blazer model -- and said it will be produced in Mexico.

Trump claimed he would magically bring back American automotive jobs.

Instead his disastrous trade war has made things worse. Now Trump is insisting GM “better put something else in” to replace the lost U.S. jobs." What are the chances?

Sound familiar?

Trump demanded Harley Davidson keep their jobs in the United States. HD took them overseas anyway. Of course, Trump did nothing about it but tweet.

Carrier took the tax breaks then moved those jobs to Mexico.
