I think the wall is a dumb idea, but I think that it is time Pelosi and Trump each swallow their pride and compromise. People need to get back to work.

Maybe Trump gets a small, $2.5B wall.

Agree or disagree?

Trump offered to give the DACA people citizenship for an end to chain migration, an end to birthright citizenship and wall funding back in Feb. If I were him, I wouldn't give them anything more and I wouldn't settle for anything less. Once you realize this is all about importing new Democrat voters, it all makes sense.

Oh course they should. Pelosi would admit that we need to do something about border security and trump should admit a wall may not be the best path forward. Then go from there.

Sorry, a wall is needed. NO deal without a wall. Why did Democrats pay for a $500 million wall between Iraq and Jordon if it doesn't work? Why won't Democrats do EVERYTHING they can to protect America?

It was Trump who rejected the DACA deal and there was like 25 billion in there for border security.

He was all set to sign but then Stephen Miller convinced him not to.

I wouldn't give him one dime for the wall.

I would offer a bunch of money for border security as long as it wasn't used for the wall.

Trump DID compromise. First he asked for $5.7 bil wall, then asked for $2.4bil wall, then asked for $5.7bil steel fence. At this point, Congress owns the shutdown.

Or a small, 25 foot wall. Pelosi should not have said, "no, no way" so early in the discussion.
If a fence is a good idea, a wall is a better one.

Why? Why don't you want a wall? For the same reason you hate Trump. Because it's effective. You aren't fooling anyone.

Sorry, no. It was Democrats who wouldn't fund a wall. Trump made an offer for DACA. They refused the wall.
