I live in South Carolina -- I'm reading lots of complaints, comments, jokes, ribbing, criticism...not a whole lot of folks 'defending' -- and there shouldn't be.

No one is outraged.....everyone is highly amused and feel like there is no better President to present guests at the White House fast food than Trump.

If the players got what they requested, then there is no story here--theres no evidence that they didnt, either.

Had Trump provided them with a more classy meal they he did, people here would up in arms about him doing that while some federal workers are going without pay...hypocrites!

Wrong.

Obama and GWB have hosted championship teams in the Oval Office. Probably others as well, but that's enough to prove you wrong.

So what is more important, what food was served, or that the President of the United States took time out of his busy day to honor some kids?

Good American food, even found in other countries. When I was in Italy people ran to the nearest McDonald's for the freshest, like home, food.
This is the type of behavior that gave birth to the term Ugly American.

oh give me a break. He spent lunch with them. What martyr -- lol.

Like this was some selfless act.

It was a photo op -- much needed right now. That's why it was so rushed.

LOLOL.
