As a conservative, I will readily admit this is 100% embarrassing. The Clemson Tigers destroyed a stacked Alabama team and they should be dining on steak and lobsters, especially when most sports organizations have refused to even go.

I can’t excuse this one. McDonald’s? A man would get slapped if he took a woman to McDonald’s on a date.

Rocko, thank you! It’s indefensible, so thank you for being honest.

I go from laughing at the hilarity to being appalled.

I dunno...I eat things like sea snails, konjac noodles, and durian. No way would I subject my guests to that..lol. When I have friends over, I cook them the foods I know they'll like.

Though when I'm invited to others' houses, I don't judge them for cooking what they normally eat.

It doesn't really matter what Trump fed them, as long as it was paid out of his own pocket rather than ours.

The best part? Individual 1 paid for it out of his own pocket. It kind of makes sense now, doesn’t it?
Imagine if there had been Chick fil A there!!! The liberal media would have had a field day.

I mean, this is why Individual 1 needs adults in the room. Come on, man.

I bet those guys panned him hard!
Even Trump is too politically correct to order Chick fil A I guess.

Ok idk the story behind this. Maybe the White House kitchen staff are affected by the shutdown, not sure cause only 25% of the government is actually shutdown and the culinary staff might not be affected.

I guess Trump was a little cheap here, a good all-American catered meal would probably be some barbecue and homemade sides though this is a football team not a state dinner. Trump does know how to be classy like when he entertained the leaders of China and Japan at Mar a Lago and played golf with them (as part of diplomacy, unlike with Obama).

Remember when the Obamas visited the British Prime Minister and Michelle Obama gave the PM's kids some toy helicopters as a gift to represent America? I think that was more embarassing.

That actually looks like a lot of fun. I don't think people here are really outraged, in fact they would be MORE outraged if fancy food were served because "the NERVE of POTUS to throw a fancy party when the government is shutdown!!".

This is a cute and probably well received act on the part of the WH. Take off your grumpy pants and start thinking like a normal person. POTUS isn's a King, and he doesn't have to handle everything a specific way to make it work. You'd be praising a Dem if they had a weeny roast on the South Lawn and you know it.
