Good point

A year ago, we didn't have caravans with thousands of people trying to force their way into the US.

Is there a reason you posted a 2 year old poll?

Not really a good point.

And what is with "research" in quotations?

Don't fall for that edited garbage. It's just more right wing dirty tricks. Pelosi is indeed winning and Trump is a moron for saying that he is proud to own the shutdown.

First hit. Recent evidence isn't any different.

More to your question, Why would you expect it to have changed dramatically in that time frame? The issues haven't evolved very much, and the amount of people you would need to change opinions for is enormous to sway it the other direction.

Have anything that says otherwise?

I believe this poll is more indicative of how the people of this country feel, even though I have never been one to put much stock in polls. Basically, we have 1/3 who feel the wall is absolutely necessary, 1/3 who feel border security is important, but feel there are other ways to handle the problem, and 1/3 who don't think we really have a big issue at the border. So while there may be a majority who don't feel the wall is absolutely necessary, there is also a majority who feel security at our southern border is a big issue that needs to be addressed.

Absolutely. Both parties should get together to reform immigration once and for all. Everyone I know is for greater border security.
