Newton's fundamental theories of how gravity works were proven to be overly simplistic by Einstein. And Einstein's theories about gravity were proven to be flawed at the atomic level by quantum mechanics.
Also, any scientist that is involved in this field will tell you that there is still a great deal we do not know about gravity as a fundamental force.
It is the same with the left's theory of man-made global warming. Or climate change. Or whatever the leftists are calling their politically-driven agenda these days.
The difference is that it is considered politically correct to raise objections and opposing arguments to currently popular theories about gravity. Not so with the left's theory about man-made global warming. And that is not really very scientific at all, is it?
Do you or do you not believe in man made climate change? Care to discuss your views?
I'm curious why the 100 other threads on "man made" climate change weren't enough for you.
The climate changes. Always has. Always will. Changed before man ever came along. Will continue to change long after man kills itself off because man is so stupid. Or, in 12 years when AOC predicts we will all die out if we don't turn to socialism - either way, who cares, the climate changes with or without man.
The Arctic Ocean is warming up, icebergs are growing scarcer and in some places the seals are finding the water too hot according to a report to the Commerce Department yesterday from Consulate at Bergen Norway.
Reports from fishermen, seal hunters and explorers all point to a radical change in climate conditions and hitherto unheard-of temperatures in the Arctic zone.
Exploration expeditions report that scarcely any ice has been met as far north as 81 degrees 29 minutes.
Soundings to a depth of 3,100 meters showed the Gulf Stream still very warm.
Great masses of ice have been replaced by moraines of earth and stones, the report continued, while at many points well known glaciers have entirely disappeared.
Very few seals and no white fish are found in the eastern Arctic, while vast shoals of herring and smelts which have never before ventured so far north, are being encountered in the old seal fishing grounds.
Within a few years it is predicted that due to the ice melt the sea will rise and make most coast cities uninhabitable.

Opps… neglected to mention that this report was from November 2, 1922 as reported by the AP and published in The Washington Post 96 years ago.
“This warming in Norway in 1922 must have been caused by Model T Ford emissions or possibly from horse, cattle and reindeer.”
The industrial revolution began long before 1922, and believe it or not, plenty of cars existed by then. Lots of factories and cars that had almost zero emissions regulations, unlike now.
So it's not exactly implausible that environmental consequences of industrialization was noticed early on.
Yes, there's no doubt that CO2 is a potent GHG and punches far above its weight, in terms of concentration, as it absorbs infrared radiation so much more effectively than water vapor.
But God made the earth self-regulating. Negative feedback mechanisms will prevent runaway climate change.
Those feedback mechanisms are unlikely to be very accommodating to living humans.
Absolutely! Just look around you and see the drastic changes in the last few years. Yes, life is great....trips to the moon, other planets, and now focusing on the sun; polluting the planet without a thought for anyone but ourselves; building on undeveloped land and contributing to animal extinctions; letting 5G be used so everyone can receive faster internet; etc., etc. The list goes on. We are responsible for all of it just to have an easier lifestyle.....People are messing around with nature in many ways and it's not good. Nature will always win.

I'm not against further research. Quite the contrary. I think there is much to be studied. However, a lot of people not only don't "believe" in man-contributed climate change, they want to shut down the possibility of even researching it altogether. By definitively asserting that recent climate change is mostly natural and disallowing further discussion on the matter, plenty of "skeptics" are guilty of the same thing that the hysterical AOC types are.
The skeptical thing to do is to keep researching into it and remain objective.
