CA governor Gavin Newsom wants California to be "its own nation state." That sounds to me like secession. California has the world's 5th largest economy and an estimated population of 40 million+: more than enough to be an independent nation. Question is would you be unhappy if California seceded from the United States?
I don't think California could survive without the Feds propping them up.
If they did go the route of independence it would be in the best interest of the rest of us if the border wall ran North to enclose off the former state and when they failed they could become North Mexico.

I can’t think of a better way to peacefully restore the rest of America to its original values than to unload most of the far left by ridding ourselves of the left coast. Please do it.

I thought secession was in the works right after President Trump was elected. I even asked a California poster (can't remember her name) how the pull out was going and she answered, "fine". That was two years ago. Jeez, California, it's taking you a long time to vacate.
Please leave. You'll make millions if non-Californians very happy. And please put up a wall too.
If they plan to have open borders then we will NEED a wall between us and them. An independent socialist California would be a third world country in a few years, even months.

Seems like that was tried before. As I recall, it didn't end well. Newsome makes a poor comparison to Jeff Davis.
