I've asked liberals over and over to pin point out exactly what lies they are talking about and all I get is silence, a blank stare, or "if you can't see the lies you are .... <fill in the blank>".

The right wing fear is palpable. That old DOJ memo from 1974 is all that's keeping tRump in the WH at this point.

But it energizes the Pubs.

Experiment 2 was conducted in July 2016.
Of the 960 participants, 514 identified as Democrats. Of the 286 Republicans, 186 were Trump supporters and 100 were Trump non-supporters. The 160 participants who had no political affiliation were omitted

A turnip vs Hillary will get the Napas elected every time. Are they brave enough to trot her out again?

True, but he's been enthusiastically adopted by the GOP as their figurehead. The Pubs will rise or fall with him.

That sort of people does extremely well when times are good, but crisis times send charisma peddlers to a garbage pile. If American brand of conservatism is in danger, the choice of the fearless leader is disastrous. But I doubt republicans are in danger. Spineless, shapeless, aimless, republican light democrats are in much more immediate danger and they couldn't even recruit a konman of their own.
Dems are very adept at squandering opportunities.

The coming campaign season will prove to be very entertaining, no doubt.

2020, the year America regains its vision.

The world is a big scary place for a lot of people. It helps them to be told fairy tales and fantasies, presumably they sleep better at night, or hope to. Trump supplies that.

I live in Trump country.

I have neighbors, co-workers, in-laws and drinking buddies that supported Trump and I speak to all of them.

I stand by my statement.

What's even more interesting is that people don't realize ALL politicians lie on a regular basis and they still vote for them.

And while we contemplate POTUS chaos, he quietly give smart bomb making technology to the Saudis.

Oh well, they have money so they must be OK.

To me this is also very weird, evangelicals are not even
pretending to care about the lying.
Guess they never ever really cared about anything but power?

would you share a few "fairy tales and fantasies" you have been told by your neighbors, co-workers, in-laws, and drinking buddies that trump has provided them? I'm not pursing a long discussion on an anonymous message board with you, but if you would name a few answers, I'd appreciate it.
