She addresses the main issue of the times: economic opportunities for the middle class. You can disagree with her beliefs and conclusions, as I do, but she is addressing one of the three points raised by Trump in his campaign. ( (1) Economics via outsourcing and bad trade deals; (2) illegal immigration causing jobs to be stolen from Americans; (3) endless wars wasting money)
Before her only Bernie Sanders on the Democrat side addressed that and, as is clear, he was cheated by the Democrat National Committee. Objectively, it is also clear calling Trump a fascist and the Russia Collusion narrative were ways to deal with Trump without actually doing anything about the economics.
My feeling is that the Democratic National Committee will soon convene and try to shape their narrative for the 2020 presidential campaign. That narrative will not involve much economic "justice" (in their phrasing) or in Trump's words making America great again by bringing jobs back.
Warren's breaking up big tech will be silenced; big tech is a huge donor to the Democrats. You will get lots of social issues: racism, women's rights, abortion, affirmative actions i.e. equity. No one one the Democrat side will talk about actually bringing jobs back except in some meaningless, pie-in-the-sky economic position paper that has the value of toilet paper. They can't afford it. Democrats moved from working with unions to being the lapdogs of the globalists, outsourcing industries.
