Looks like a fresh, round of massive tax increases are coming to many big cities because the liberal Democrats are so fixated on President Trump that they have just let the infrastructure collapse.

Will be interesting when the massive trifecta of a recession, massive unfunded pension liabilities and old, crumbling failing infrastructure issues come to big to ignore.

Democrats run jails that are no better than those in third-world countries with jails that are definition of cruel and unusual punishment.

Democrats run schools that have no heat also in the middle of winter in cold northern cities. The liberal Democrats love to talk about STEM based educations what ever that is, but the inner-city schools in many cities are very old with long stretches without heat.

Democrats seem to have no usual with lead water pipes in Chicago.

The Democrats claim to care about the children, seniors and disabled but there are thousands of vulnerable people who are disabled and have suffered without heat and hot water in DeBlasio's NYCHA.

Los Angeles has a third-world jail that is in complete disrepair with billions needed for new jail.

No shortage of dangerous and structurally deficient bridges throughout the US.

All states look to the Federal Government to kick in big $ to address infrastructure.

Exactly. No one talks about how poor these states are. Republicans have run these states for decades. What have they done for them.

Really. Republicans have been running most of their red states to the ground with their scorched earth policies. For starters, Lovecrowds should drive on Highway 51 between Yale and Mannford in Oklahoma to get a strong idea how sorry Republican run roads are. No wonder. Last year, Republicans cut the state County Road and Bridge Fund by by $230 million. Roads are also sorry in urban Oklahoma City and Tulsa, even though Republicans run them. https://kfor.com/2018/08/18/oklahoma...n-the-country/

Speaking of jails, the Republican run Oklahoma County Jail is an awful disgrace. One man had to wait for months before he could see a judge for the first time. He essentially got lost in the judicial process. https://kfor.com/2019/03/08/public-d...a-county-jail/

Speaking of schools, around one fifth of Oklahoma schools had to cut back to 4 days a week, because Republicans cut funding so much.

If Republican run states are so much better than Democrat ones, then Lovecrowds needs to explain to us why the new Oklahoma governor is tired of Oklahoma being in the bottom 10 for everything good and hopes to make Oklahoma a top ten state for what is good. Republicans have run the state since 2010.

Most of that Dem Money going to AL and MS are to support your Welfare Democrat Baby Mommas in those states and now many of the illegals you support. We Republicans have jobs and support ourselves.

The democrats have run these places for 50 years.....what did you think was going to happen? LOL

Too many takers - not enough producers -- too much corruption -- too much bureaucracy. Too many welfare collectors -- too many baby daddies who don't work. Too many teen age mothers who have the skills to flip burgers and not much else. It's not rocket science.

Sure people talk about it -- the OP though is so miserable that they spend so much time trying to find all the other reasons why other places are miserable like them.

It's sad.

Very sad.
