It doesnt matter, its not your place or Govts place to get involved in this.

Everyone is different, some are going to choose to use drugs/chemicals, live and let live applies here.

The ONLY reason Govt is involved in this, was to ensure the drug cartels have an insanely profitable market to sell their drugs, drug laws are basically the same thing as aiding and abetting the cartels.

The idiot probably shouldn't have put it on FB. But the government should have stayed out of it.

Ah, more conspiracy theories! Plus, it's all a massive conspiracy to imprison black people!

Why isn't it the place of government to regulate it?

Another "conservative" telling folks what to do with 100% natural plant. Chemically created alcohol is okay though!

His kids should be taken from him.
Doubtful. Most people I know who's parents smoked never smoked themselves.

Its outside their scope, Constitution does not grant them this type of power.

To your first sentence above...do your own research, read up on why drug laws were originally created and why Govts felt the need to create such laws. It was NEVER about protecting anyones health or safety. That is not a conspiracy, its fact.

Oh, you must've misunderstood: I wasn't writing about the origins of any of these laws, I was writing about how it's implemented today. In 2019. I assume you're capable of comprehending that the intentions or origins of a particular policy or law obviously do not necessitate that it's implemented and carried out in that same fashion, in perpetuity, correct?

Or do you believe that our teachers, school administrators, cops, judges deliberately target black Americans for arrest for marijuana and other drug offenses to oppress them? Who are some specific teachers, administrators, cops and judges who are doing this?

The Constitution clearly grants the federal government the authority to regulate interstate commerce, along with specifically setting out the promotion of the general welfare as a central purpose. The illegal trade often involves interstate commerce.

Ah, the natural fallacy. If it's "natural," it can't possibly be bad for you. Everyone knows "synthetic" substances are worse, right? Tobacco is "natural," as well.

"Oh yeah, well what about alcohol?!?" And we have yet another "whataboutism" along with a strawman. That's three logical fallacies in a one-sentence post!

Well let's see, do you think alcohol or pot has been more destructive & harmful to people?
