What OP meant to say was: "Trump signs his first veto so he can build the shrine in honor of himself despite America refusing numerous times to fund it."

With this act of bullying and stupidity, Trump has become a lame-duck president and will be treated as such from now on, even by many republicans.

I will CORRECT your title......on what has BECOME his signature issue.

Was it poor management of his time, not knowing how things work in govt. or just not really caring until it was clear he could create chaos and put on a show iwthout really doing anything at all.

Notice the comments at the signing of this national emergency order by A.G. Barr. Its legal and exactly the kind of situation the emergency order was designed for. ( there should be a link to it later)
Congress has failed to protect the country and the American citizen. Trump goes the distance to fulfill his primary mission to protect the American people.

Heart-breaking stories from people who lost family members due to illegal immigration and drugs. So glad this is happening.

Wow, he's actually become a dictator in action. The same people who support this man and are self-proclaimed constitutionalists are praising him as he blatantly breaks the constitution.

Trump’s signature issue was that he was going to build a big beautiful wall and Mexico was going to pay for it.

The law passed by Congress allows him to do this. Congress can override his veto if they choose.
