Why do you need full auto, are you going to battle with the state.
Nope, but if the State ever decided to battle me and the scenario called for suppressing fire, it would be nice to have the same tactical capabilities as my attacker.
And they won't, just like the didn't on the previous "assault weapons" ban. It's just symbolic. LE won't even check my AR when I'm out hunting and there is a ban on them in CA right now.
These are symbolic BS laws.
Then what's the point of Trump virtue-signaling to the gun-grabbers, unless he has a hidden agenda?
You sound paranoid, we are just speaking abou bump stocks. I can see why nothing gets done when it comes to guns. It’s been stated over and over that we are fine with AR15s because they only fire semi so it’s alright if they are used in mass shootings. But here people are whining about a ban on bumpstocks.
The federal government doesn't have the power to ban anything. The only time they followed the instructions was the ban on consumable alcohol and that didn't work out very well.

It appears to be just to shut up the most rabid liberals and he can claim he "did something". The thing is, it's a part and not a firearm so can they confiscate a gun, or just take the part. No one is going to be arrested it appears. Is it theft? Yes.
I believe it will end up in court just like the magazine confiscation is here in CA.

It's already in court. In fact if you are a member of Florida Carry, Madison Society Foundation, or Firearms Policy Foundation then you are are allowed to keep your bump stock until there is a verdict in the DC Circuit Court.
Now that the Russian collusion witchhunt has come to an end, the far more important story is that Trump's blatant violation of property rights through his banning of bump stocks has been upheld by his supposedly “conservative” Supreme Court.
The fight isn't over yet, but regardless of what happens all the credit for trying to protect property rights goes to Firearms Policy Coalition and Gun Owners of America for filing suit to stop the ban. Of course the completely worthless NRA was not only conspicuously absent, but actively pushed for the ban.
The Donald Trump gun round up is starting and his supporters and members of the GOP are doing nothing about it. Trump campaigned on protecting the property rights of gun owners but his liberal tendencies have come alive and leaders of his party have done nothing to challenge him on this issue. If Obama had done this there would literally be protests all over the country, and rightfully so.
To all the Trump apologists and so-called “2nd Amendment advocates,” enjoy your slippery slope when President AOC orders the banning of 30-round magazines and silencers, then moves on to New Zealand-style semi-auto bans.
You are correct the Right would have been in an uproar had Obama pulled this one. But so far crickets guess it’s ok if Trump does it.

Well there you go. DC circuit court, uh oh.
