Your question is fallacious, but I'll indulge. First I've no idea what Trump thinks. You have to ask him.

If you are asking me as an engineer I'll tell you there no technology on the books that will replace fossil fuels that we are using now for base load energy requirements, at a cost that people are willing to pay within the next 30 years. Not even close. There is one exception to this.

But........ If they wanted to do it, this is the solution. (the exception)

Move power generation to thorium cycle nuclear reactors and use the huge excess capacity to produce hydrogen for transportation instead of figuring out how to make a better battery. We could do it now, the technology was first deployed in the 1960s and it would not require fundamental breakthroughs in physics to make possible. One generation's time no more fossil fuels would need to be burned.

Will it happen? Nope. The Left is so fixated on Wind & Solar & batteries they have closed off discussion on any other possible outcome. They will be against any other real solution. They will fight it with every argument just like they fight the wall to keep out illegals. It isn't about the solution. It's about being "right".

Hope that answers your question.

Didn't get to the wind part but clearly it says that any renewable based on solar technology represents a net energy loss.

Trump was right yet again. Thanks for the link.

(you really ought to read these things you google up)
Christ. We're discussing wind turbines. Do try to stay focused.

So home solar panels are stupid? Or supplementary windmills if high wind remote areas perhaps?

Maybe Trump is just fixated on Fossil fuels forever.... he did admit Climate Change is real in aspects. DID YOU YET?

Here I thought ... nobody knew the mind of Trump as you. But he will no doubt, give us some tweet or comment to let us know if you don't enlighten us on it first.

We now know the wind only moves and blows some of the time ..... so that's the doom of windmills to him.

You would have to explain your "thorium cycle nuclear reactor" to Trump I'm sure. But for him tooo. Won't live to see it.

Sounds like a interesting thread topic on future energy and planning for moving from fossil fuels. But you like the political forum and Trump is to be defended always....

Trump knows everything. In fact, he knows more than anybody about everything.

Its impossible to control hydroelectric power on the same grid with nuclear power so adding wind is absolutely impossible and useless.

All this was built just because it looked pretty. Or … maybe its fake. That's it … it must be fake because Trump could never be so stupid or lie.

No we learned something. Trump told us. " Wind only blows sometimes" so guess these spinning wheels stop.

But Windmills has made me think of a 60s 70s song.

OMG lookie at this 1970 video I found.
OUR FOREVER GENIE --- I MEAN JEANNIE. Barbara Eden

She sings SPINNING WHEELS HERE AND OMG. WHAT A OUTFIT.

Jeannie sings and does more then blink some magic.
Hard to believe she is 87 age today. Looks great still.

And you posted a report about it that you didn't read. No need to bring Christ into it, he won't save you from your sally, though I find it interesting that you went there.

There is basically always wind, high pressure to low pressure. Rarely is there no wind. But can anyone expect someone who doesn't have an education to know this? Just another in a long series of topics that trump knows zero about.

And to think, you got all that by reading Newsweek. The irony is beyond delicious.
