So folk in the US will be familiar with the hit to its reputation the NYT has taken over its continued fake news over Trump, the Russian Collusion delusion and anything Republican.
But its tentacles of tendentious twaddle stretch much further.
Its coverage of Brexit has been equally laughable and untruthful, painting the UK as a country convulsed by stockpiling of food and medicines while existing on boiled mutton to survive.
The latest nonsense is equally risible blaming French immigrants into London for fanning the flames of Brexit - except for the fact that French immigration was never raised once during the referendum campaign except to point out why so many rich Parisians are fleeing to London because of Macron and London voted overwhelmingly to Remain.
Never has the reputation of a newspaper fallen so fast and so quickly.

1. Wrong. The NYT subscriptions are up.
2. Your thread title is ridiculous and you have provided no evidence whatsoever.
3. You are angry because a brilliant writer and and global political analyst has it right. In fact, it is spot on.
The analysis of Brexit is totally correct. So spot on, it is amazing! Such a good column, I shared it with all my Brit and Irish friends. They did not react the way you did, because they don't agree with the Brexiteers, who are now in the minority. A lot of people do not agree with Bexit--that is why fewer are now for it.
Thomas Friedman is absolutely brilliant and he's also right in his analysis. Those posting NYT-bashing comments--did you even read the column? Does not sound like it.

Reading comprehension..... Friedman did not blame French immigrants for Brexit. But it is undeniable that high levels of immigrants had much to do with the dissatisfaction that led to the Brexit vote. It's misguided in the same way that Trump's scapegoating of immigrants in this country is being used to push some very bad policies. Hopefully we will not be as stupid as the British.
By the way, Friedman is an opinion columnist (and a very credible one at that) who does not necessarily represent the views of the Times, any more than Juan Williams represents FoxNews.
