I can't imagine that a member of the United States Congress would ever describe the 9/11 attacks as "some people who did something."

It would have been better for everybody if she never left her birthplace in Mogadishu. She should go back home.

No, Joe. Omar's anti-Semitic statements and dismissiveness of the 9/11 murders of americans and the attack on this country by muslim terrorists as "some people who did something" is for all americans, her fellow congressional reps, and the democrat party she represents to condemn.

Because most Americans don't pay attention to politics and never heard of her.
She represents the Somalian population in an obscure portion of America. It is the only place in America where she could be elected. The media is a megaphone for everything she says, and in that way she is a tool useful for destroying the Democrat party.
NO reasonable, independent voter would vote for the party which includes Omar.

I'm not a fan of hers. She needs to think before she opens her mouth. She's green, though. Needs to take some time to figure out how to work with others and be diplomatic.

She represents the far left of the party and thus pretty much anything short of a direct "I hate Jews" is okay to that end.

Probably because she is a politician representing a flyover state in Midwest. That is why most Americans have no idea who she is.


If she is a politician out of California or NY (ie AOC), then that is different story.

She isn't some unknown democrat. far from it.
